Sherry Baird, pioneer and former partner of ABS, and an excellent mentor of the bookkeeping team, has over 30 years of experience in the bookkeeping and accounting field. In 1999, she became self-employed and registered for her own bookkeeping firm: Advance Business Solutions Ltd. She is also a co-owner of a collision repair facility in downtown Victoria, Advance Collision, which was started by her father David W. Baird and his partner in 1963. In her free time, Sherry enjoys piano, yoga, cycling, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.

 

Yufang Xie, partner and director of ABS, is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper with CPB Canada and a QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor. She completed her graduate studies and obtained her master's degree in Arts, majoring in English Language and Literature in the teaching direction in China. She completed the Professional Accounting Certificate program at Camosun College with an Outstanding Accounting Faculty Award. With English teaching and professional accounting education as a background, and years of enhanced work experience, Yufang has directed the bookkeeping firm to a great efficient bookkeeping system. She continues to manage and maintain these professional services for our clients. Outside of the office, Yufang enjoys learning new things and appreciates a bit of music. She likes walking/hiking, travelling, and she loves spending time with her family and friends.

 

Sharon Ye, partner and manager, is a Certified Professional Bookkeeper with CPB Canada. She studied at Camosun College where she obtained her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and minor in Finance. She assists with our clients' needs in great care. In her free time, Sharon enjoys running and yoga. She also enjoys playing musical instruments, and spending time with her family and friends.
